We are seeking  an energetic, engaged, motivated Medical Affairs Coordinator for our growing practice located in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Medical Affairs Coordinator performs a wide array of tasks related to patient administration, recruitment, and retention. Successful candidates will be proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and asking questions and will be comfortable talking with patients over the phone and in person.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Patient Administrative responsibilities
  • Patient check-in/check out
  • Keep appointments/providers on schedule
  • Organize and prepare patient charts
  • Maintain information in the Customer Relationship Management database
  • Coordinate telephone requests to refill prescription drug medications in accordance with physician instructions.
  • Patient Recruitment and Retention
  • Redirect phone calls as needed
  • Administrative
  • Patient scheduling
  • Organize work area as needed
  • Complete other administrative duties as required

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Superior phone and customer service
  • Proactive communication to keep office running smoothly
  • Use of office tracking systems (Square,Outlook, CRM)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Minimum high school diploma, but Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree preferred
  • Sales or marketing experience a plus
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Team player
  • Excellent organizing and time-management skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Computer Literate – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Email
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and enthusiastic
